Statify Statement

What is this text, lol?

Earlier this year, I was in a swimming pool with a beautiful view on the mountains in Austria. I thought about the future of Statify and how the bot can be optimized and how to continue the current state of the bot. The bot is currently broken: stats are not updated, charts are not working, and many more things don't work as expected. But still, the message count and voicetime activity is being tracked. My conclusion was to redo and recode everything that has to do with Statify. I am talking about the bot, website, infrastructure and even the database management. This is a huge step to do, and we require some time for it, so we decided to close the functionalities of the Bot for a few months. But wait! Don't kick the Bot from your Server. We are already working on the recode and will try to migrate any existing data we have in our current database. This includes your settings, message count, voice activity, statistic messages and userdata.

How long will the bot be down?

We can't be sure, but we expect all Statify services to be up by March-April 2022. There will be public beta tests earlier.

What features will the new Statify service include?

The new Statify service will make use of the new Discord interaction system. This includes slash commands, buttons, context menus and more. The website will be redone and the priority of the website and the bot will be user friendly controls. You will get more information in the upcoming months on the Statify Discord Server.

What is the current state of these plans?

Currently, we are in the process of finishing the concept and are starting with team management. We are investigating which teamroles we need and why or why not. Soon we'll open applications for some roles in the Statify Team.

I still have a question!

You can ask in the │❓temporary-shutdown textchannel on the Statify Discord Server. Our Manager, Crayon, or I will try to answer the question as good as possible without telling things that are not 100% sure to be included in the public beta tests.

What's next?

As mentioned earlier, the bot is going to be unavailable for quite some time. It will stay online, but all features will be disabled, and you will get redirected to this text. We know some of you love the features of this bot, but all I can say is that Statify won't be dropped like other projects. It will be relaunched with better technologies in the first two quarters of 2022!
